Key Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Assistant, your duties will include:

• Assisting residents with washing, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Supporting residents with eating and drinking where required
• Helping residents move safely around the home and assisting with getting into and out of bed
• Providing toileting support while maintaining residents’ dignity and respect
• Delivering high standards of personal care in accordance with individual care plans
• Spending time talking and listening to residents to promote comfort, wellbeing, and companionship
• Providing both physical and emotional support to enhance residents’ quality of life
• Recording care tasks and observations accurately using digital care systems
