Country View Nursing Home has been caring for the elderly and infirmed for over 20 years. In this time it has built up an excellent local reputation for standards of comfort and care.
The house itself is set in 2 acres of beautiful gardens located on the edge of the Duke of Buccleuch's Boughton Estate in Northamptonshire. The house and grounds overlook the Ise Valley between the picturesque villages of Warkton and Weekly, conveniently located a short distance from the busy market town of Kettering which has excellent local amenities.
Country View's Comfort and Care for all approach to looking after their residents has meant that over the years an envious reputation has been built up in the local care community. We pride ourselves on our compassionate approach to care and always ensure that the 'comfort and care' we provide is extended to family and friends as well as the residents themselves.
The nursing home has been Owner/Managed by Maggie and Brian Webb since March 1998. Maggie graduated from University College Hospital London in 1958 and has been caring for the elderly and infirmed in Northamptonshire for over 20 years.
To ensure residents needs are fully met and they feel at home, an array of additional services are made available to them such as Hairdressing, Chiropody, and inclusive Holistic Therapy. We also have an in house activities co-ordinator who encourages the residents to partake in activities ranging from flower arranging and quizzes, to day trips out to local attractions (for those who are able).
We provide a full calendar of events for our residents and their loved ones, these include weekly musical performances which alternate throughout the year between a talented local female vocalist, and a wonderful keyboard player who accompanies his music with singing. We also have a talented pianist who will perform several times a year, regular pantomimes, and various other events including a Christmas Carol service and a summer Fete.
All meals are freshly prepared on site by our excellent catering staff, ensuring a balanced diet of homely meals. Special dietary requirements can also be catered for. Residents are encouraged to use one of the homes two communal lounge areas where they can interact with one another or simply relax in a comfortable environment. We also have a patio area which we encourage the use of when the weather is pleasant, with views overlooking the local countryside.
The home itself is registered for 29 residents and can cater for long and short term care, respite, and palliative care. We have our own GP assigned to our home who visits our residents at least once a week to ensure consistent care from a trusted professional who we have worked hand in hand with for many years.
